Lam Dong Red Cross launched a campaign to support the Cuban people

On the morning of August 25, the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Society held a launching ceremony for the Program to support the Cuban people on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Cuba diplomatic relations.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Society, said that this is a meaningful activity during the Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Year, commemorating the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (December 2, 1960 - December 2, 2025).

This activity is not only a practical gesture towards the Cuban people, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and helping each other of the Vietnamese people, but also affirms the core role in humanitarian work of the Red Cross.

The program to support the Cuban people with the theme "65 years of Vietnam - Cuba friendship" takes place in 65 days (from August 13 to October 16, 2025). The program aims to mobilize at least 65 billion VND nationwide to support medical supplies, necessities and sustainable development cooperation. Thereby, contributing to helping the neighboring country overcome difficulties.

Calling on kind-hearted people to transfer money to the Lam Dong Red Cross Humanitarian Fund to support the Cuban people.

Officials and employees of Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Society responded to donations to support the Cuban people.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, officials, civil servants and volunteers of the Provincial Red Cross Society donated to support the Cuban people.

Representatives of Tam Sai Gon Dental Clinic participated in supporting the Cuban people at the launching ceremony of the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Society.

All donations from organizations and individuals will be reported weekly by the Association. At the end of the campaign, they will be transferred to the account of the Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee.
