The 6th Conference of the Executive Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Farmers' Association, Term X

On February 28, the Farmers' Association of Quang Ninh province held the 6th Executive Committee meeting to elect additional members of the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and the Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association for the 10th term, 2023-2028. Attending the meeting was comrade Bui Thuy Phuong, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee.

The delegates voted unanimously with the election results.

With the spirit of urgent, serious and responsible work, the conference voted and elected Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Hanh, Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of Binh Lieu District Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of President of the Quang Ninh Provincial Farmers' Association, term X, 2023-2028, with absolute unanimity.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyet Hanh, Chairwoman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, thanked the provincial leaders for their trust and the trust of the Provincial Farmers' Association Executive Committee; affirmed that she will continue to promote the tradition of solidarity and unity, inherit the achievements of development, and together with the collective leadership and staff of the Provincial Farmers' Association, build an increasingly strong organization. At the same time, she will continue to accompany, support, advise, and create favorable conditions for farmer members to develop the economy , promote the role of farmers in building the Party, the Government and the Great National Unity Bloc, and enhance the position of farmers in the new situation.

Previously, on February 25, the Provincial Party Standing Committee issued Notice No. 1501-TB/TU announcing the Resolution of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on personnel work, mobilizing, assigning, and appointing comrade Do Ngoc Nam, Provincial Party Committee member, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, holding the position of Secretary of the Binh Lieu District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; at the same time mobilizing, assigning, and introducing comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyet Hanh, Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Binh Lieu District Party Committee, to be elected as Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association for the 2023-2028 term.

Quang Ninh Farmers' Association currently has over 99,000 members at 148 Association branches. At the same time, promoting the role of farmers as the main subject in agricultural and rural economic development, actively innovating, proposing tasks to the Central Association and the province to have solutions to support farmers, deploying the Association's tasks and the farmers' movement in the whole province.
