Cu Kuin District: Inauguration and handover of a classroom building worth 5 billion VND in Ea Bhok commune

On the morning of November 16, Ngon Coffee Company Limited coordinated with the People's Committee of Cu Kuin district to organize the inauguration ceremony and handover of classrooms at Ea M'ta Primary School, Ea Bhốk commune, Cu Kuin district.

Attending the ceremony were Chairman of Cu Kuin District People's Committee Vo Tan Huy and representatives of relevant departments and branches. On the side of Ngon Coffee Company Limited, there were Deputy General Director Shyam Sunder and the company's leadership.

Ea Mta school in village 8, Ea Bhốk commune was invested and built in the 1990s. The construction time has been long, so the classrooms are now degraded, not ensuring the quality of teaching and learning. In response to the urgent need for some facilities to serve educational activities in the district, the People's Committee of Cu Kuin district has proposed Ngon Coffee Company Limited to sponsor the construction of an 8-room, 2-storey classroom building at Ea Mta Primary School.

The project has a total investment of over 5 billion VND, with a scale of 8 classrooms and 2 floors, sponsored and invested by Ngon Coffee Company Limited. The project started construction in March 2023. After 8 months of construction, the project was completed on schedule and promptly handed over for use in the 2023-2024 school year.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu Kuin district Vo Tan Huy said that in recent years, education and training in Cu Kuin district have developed in a comprehensive, stable and improved direction. Thereby, the goal of improving people's knowledge and training human resources has been well implemented; focusing on moral education, personality and lifestyle for students; diversifying and standardizing types of education and training to best meet the learning needs of the people.

Along with that, it is necessary to carry out well the socialization of education, diversify the types of schools and classes, mobilize maximum resources to invest in education development, thereby expanding the network of schools and classes to villages and hamlets in the district.

The above results were achieved thanks to the attention of leaders, authorities at all levels and the sponsorship of philanthropists and funding organizations to build facilities for former schools such as: Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, DakMan Vietnam Company and now Ngon Coffee Company Limited, a unit located in the district.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu Kuin district, Vo Tan Huy, also requested the People's Committee of Ea Bhok commune and Ea Mta primary school to step up propaganda among the people and students about protecting existing facilities; have a plan for regular renovation and upgrading; embellish and take care of trees to make the school landscape more and more beautiful; continue to invest in missing items according to regulations to ensure teaching and learning in the coming time; meet well the educational criteria in the work of building Ea Bhok commune to meet New Rural standards by 2024.

At the same time, it is hoped that in the coming time, businesses located in the district in general and Ngon Coffee Company Limited in particular will have many support programs for social security activities in the district, including the fields of education and training.

Expressing his joy at the timely completion and use of the Ea M'ta school building, meeting the teaching and learning needs before the new school year, Deputy General Director of Ngon Coffee Company Limited Shyam Sunder affirmed that in the coming time, the company will continue to promote social security activities, prioritizing the implementation of the company's social responsibility programs in Cu Kuin district, including neighboring communes such as: Ea Bhok, Ea Tieu, Dray Bhăng, ... with the goal of sponsoring more practical projects and works in education and other fields to serve the interests of the community and society.
