Unlike the summer, the trend of tourists choosing to travel in the form of experiences, health care, team building in 3 days 2 nights, 2 days 1 night tours; during this holiday, accommodation service providers in Ninh Binh such as homestays, hotels, motels, resorts recorded a change in customer demand, mainly customers booked rooms for the day and 1 night stay even though the holiday lasted for 4 days. At the same time, customers prepared their schedules early.

Mr. Pham Hong Bien, representative of Tam Sinh Tourism and Events Company Limited, shared: Most of the tourist service businesses in the province have been booked in advance by customers, the pre-booked services are mainly food and accommodation. This year, customers proactively booked earlier than every year, the target customers are groups of families, friends, individual customers, the need for day trips is dominant. For the September 2 holiday, travel agencies do not expect too much from selling tours to groups, customers from far away and long-term trips. Because this time has passed the time when companies, businesses, and schools organize summer vacation and travel programs, so the majority of customers booking tours on the September 2 holiday are individual customers traveling on their own, using individual services. Many tourists tend to choose to travel by private car for convenience instead of buying a package tour.

Therefore, when selling tours during this holiday, to meet the needs of independent individual travelers, in addition to a variety of products and types of tourism associated with the potential and strengths of Ninh Binh, many travel companies have opened up package tours at the destination but do not include travel costs, helping tourists increase their initiative and comfort in their sightseeing journey while still ensuring optimal costs.

Ms. Pham Thanh Xuan, living in Bac Son ward, Tam Diep city, said: Her family plans to visit Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area during this holiday, the trip takes place in one day so the whole family hardly needs to prepare much. Ms. Xuan thinks that tourism in the province meets the family's needs because the tourist attractions are close together, there are many means of transportation, the travel time is short, suitable for her family to organize day trips. The prices of services in Ninh Binh are relatively stable.

In recent years, tourists' habits have changed as they travel throughout the year instead of concentrating on major holidays, creating a four-season travel trend. Therefore, although summer is considered the low tourist season for localities developing eco-tourism and cultural tourism, including Ninh Binh. But compared to previous years, this year the provincial tourism industry has always maintained its "heat" with a relatively stable number of visitors. Tourism service providers have quickly adapted to the excitement of the tourist market, regularly preparing all conditions to welcome guests in a proactive and ready manner.

Ms. Duong Thi Thanh, President of Ninh Binh Tourism Association, said that due to the changing needs of tourists in terms of travel trends, with more attention paid to short-term travel and independent travel, many tourism service businesses have proactively adapted and are ready to provide individual services according to the individual needs of each customer. At the same time, appropriate human resources should be arranged and planned for tourists who do not book in advance or make appointments close to the date. However, during the holidays, it is inevitable that there will be crowds, so tourists need to carefully research information about the tourism situation, have plans to book tours in advance, and choose travel service providers that guarantee them.

Currently, the prices of tourist services in Ninh Binh are basically not increased compared to normal days, especially committed to not surcharge on holidays to help tourists always enjoy good quality service at stable prices.

In addition, to warmly and thoughtfully welcome holiday guests, tourist destinations have focused on environmental sanitation, renovating and upgrading facilities, strengthening security and order, and creating clean, beautiful and impressive landscapes.

Travel companies, accommodation establishments, and food service providers mobilize maximum labor force, especially tour guides and waiters, to meet the needs of customers and avoid overload.
