At the meeting, citizens reflected on a number of existing problems in the process of implementing legal policies in the area. In particular, many opinions focused on the content of the lack of consensus on compensation and resettlement support plans when implementing projects. Some cases have not received official responses from competent authorities regarding proposals for resettlement arrangements or reconsideration of compensation plans.

In addition, there are citizens who have petitioned about not being granted a Land Use Right Certificate. Some cases reflect the situation of granting construction permits that are not consistent with the current reality, leading to difficulties in the process of implementing the project; petition to adjust the construction permit to ensure legitimate rights.

Some other opinions mentioned complaints and petitions that have lasted for many years and have not been considered or resolved, and requested city leaders to direct a review and resolution...

The reception showed the spirit of frank and open dialogue between the government and the people, thereby contributing to enhancing people's trust in the leadership and administration of the city government.

After listening to the citizens' presentations, the leaders of the City People's Committee and departments, branches and localities directly responded and clarified many contents right at the meeting. For cases with grounds for consideration and resolution, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong assigned relevant agencies to urgently inspect the reality, review records, report and propose handling options in an objective spirit, in accordance with legal regulations and ensuring the legitimate rights of the people.

Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong emphasized: "Receiving citizens is a regular responsibility, aiming to promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations, remove difficulties for the people, and at the same time is the basis for perfecting policies and improving the effectiveness of state management. The city resolves citizens' petitions in the spirit of openness, openness, transparency and compliance with the law."
