Pension and subsidy payment schedule for nearly 3.4 million people from March 2

A representative of Vietnam Post Corporation said that the unit will make payments via ATM accounts as soon as it receives the list and money from Social Insurance, no later than the next day.

Payment time at payment points in communes, wards and towns starts from March 2nd to March 10th; payment time at post office transaction points starts from the 11th of the month and lasts until the 25th of the month.

However, in each locality, the Post Office of each province/city/center will coordinate with the local Social Insurance agency to decide the specific time for paying pensions and monthly social insurance benefits suitable for each locality.

The start time for payment of pensions and social insurance benefits by localities must not be many days later than the general regulations, and the end time must be on the same day as the general regulations.

During the pension and social insurance allowance payment period in March, Vietnam Post will make payments to nearly 3.4 million beneficiaries, with a total amount of nearly VND 18,000 billion.

In addition, together with local authorities, Vietnam Post will organize communication and announcements on mass media and grassroots loudspeaker systems so that beneficiaries can grasp the contents of the March 2024 payment period.

Vietnam Post will also prepare conditions for pension payments in March 2024 to take place safely and smoothly.

Previously, to facilitate pensioners and monthly social insurance beneficiaries during the Lunar New Year 2024, Vietnam Post Corporation issued a document instructing provincial/municipal Post Offices to urgently pay the combined pensions for January and February 2024 in two forms: cash and via ATM account.
