A series of artists excitedly congratulated "Cricket brothers"

(NLDO) - The animated film "Cricket: Adventure to the Swamp" premiered in Ho Chi Minh City. The film officially opened in theaters on May 30.

The animated film "Cricket: Adventure to the Swamp" directed by Mai Phuong, is inspired by the famous original work of writer To Hoai but is given a modern message through creative expression.

The film also depicts many Vietnamese cultural contexts: Many famous landmarks of Hanoi such as Lenin Park, Flag Tower, Long Bien Bridge are used as background, combined with traditional cultural elements such as Ao Dai, Turban, colorful cloud motifs...

The film revolves around two brothers, Cricket Men and Mole Cricket, and their adventure to the Swamp Village - an area that used to be a green field, now turned into a garbage dump. Here, they meet many new species of insects such as Stick Beard Bugs, Cockroaches, Baby Ladybugs, and King Ech Com - the self-proclaimed "boss" of the village. The two brothers, Cricket Men, must face many challenges and fierce battles from the dark plot of Ech Com, in order to protect the peace of the insect community.

At the premiere, the film's voiceover artists: Tran Hoang Son, Thai Van Minh Vu, Nguyen Anh Tuan, Ho Tien Dat, Nguyen Quang Tuyen, Vo Huyen Chi... and rappers, " music wizard" Masew gathered to celebrate the film's release.

This is the first time Masew has tried his hand at a completely new role, which is composing music for an animated film about Cricket. The songs: "Dreaming of a distant guest", "Ech Com Dai Vuong"... attracted the attention of the audience when they were released. The film has up to 7 songs, constantly changing the genre.

"De Men: The Adventure to the Swamp" is the result of three-way cooperation: graphic experts from CinePlus, close and pioneering direction from Thai Nguyen provincial government, along with the initiative and dynamism of students from the University of Information Technology and Communications (ICTU).
