Brigade 234 gives financial support to disadvantaged students

(GLO)- On September 19, the 234th Air Defense Artillery Brigade (34th Corps) awarded funding from the Project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school" for the 2025-2026 school year to 100 students in difficult circumstances in the communes of Ia O, Ia Chia, Ia Púch, Ia Tor and Bau Can.

During this school year, the 234th Air Defense Artillery Brigade awarded a total of VND740 million to support 100 ethnic minority students from poor and near-poor households, helping them continue to go to school.

Speaking at the funding handover ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Van Thu - Political Commissar of the 234th Air Defense Artillery Brigade - informed: The project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school" has been implemented by the Ministry of National Defense for many years with the goal of supporting students in remote, isolated and extremely disadvantaged areas to overcome obstacles, strive to study well and build a future.

Implementing the direction of the Ministry of National Defense and the 34th Corps Command, in recent times, the 234th Air Defense Artillery Brigade has closely coordinated with Party committees, authorities and schools to select and support the right beneficiaries. From 2024 to present, the Brigade has awarded 300 support packages to disadvantaged students with a total value of more than 2 billion VND, contributing to strengthening the solidarity between the military and the people, building a solid "people's heart position".
