At Company 1, Battalion 40 (Information Brigade 23), Major Nguyen Thu Hien, a communications officer, is conducting a training exercise on a situation where the transmission signal is lost between two communication nodes. With quick action, she and the members of the communications team have restored stable communication. This is just one of many training scenarios that the Brigade has effectively implemented in recent times.

Major Le Xuan Nam, Deputy Battalion Commander of Battalion 40, said: “Not only must each shift perform well in technical operations, but each shift must also be proficient in coordination procedures in performing tasks. We regularly change positions in the shifts so that everyone can master the technical equipment.”

Traditional education enhances soldiers' qualities.

In recent times, the Brigade has directed the training of soldiers to be “Good at traditional information, elite in mobile information, and master high-tech information”. All members have received basic training, combining technical training with coordination and exploitation of modern information systems.

Soldier Truong Le Thanh Tu, an employee of the Reporting Team, Battalion 40, shared: "At first, when approaching the new equipment system, everyone was confused. But through the training and practice process at the team, we were guided enthusiastically by the officers, analyzing every small error so everyone could do it."

In particular, the Brigade requires that in addition to being professionally competent, each member must also have strong political will, strong will and high discipline. All officers and soldiers must be united, maintain combat readiness, strictly comply with discipline and regulations on combat readiness.

Colonel Vu Minh Duc, Brigade Commander of the 23rd Information Brigade, affirmed: “The on-duty teams, teams, and information stations are not only the operational forces but also the highly combat-ready forces, maintaining the “bloodline” of accurate and timely information in all situations. This is the model of “Excellent expertise - strong mettle - high responsibility” that the Brigade has deployed for many years."

In recent times, the Brigade has also done a good job of ensuring technical, maintaining and repairing the existing information equipment system, while actively applying new technology, gradually modernizing communication means. With the motto "theory linked to practice, practice as the main", officers and soldiers concretize it with practical and effective technical innovations and innovations. In the past 5 years, the Brigade has implemented 69 initiatives.

Party committees and commanders of units strictly maintain combat readiness training regimes; organize well sports festivals, competitions, and drills, practice changing combat readiness status, mobilize forces, and deploy information systems in hypothetical situations.

From 2024 to present, the 23rd Information Brigade has organized 100% of on-duty crews to be tested according to the new training content. As a result, 100% of crews met the requirements, of which more than 86% were rated as good or excellent. Many individuals were commended and rewarded by the unit for their outstanding achievements in information security on-duty work.
