Apple CEO's 2023 salary and bonus reduced by 36%

Apple has just submitted a report to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), which provides detailed information related to the annual income of many leaders of this trillion-dollar corporation. The highest total salary paid by the company still belongs to Tim Cook - CEO of Apple with an amount of up to nearly 63.21 million USD.

Apple CEO earns $63 million in 2023

Initially, the Apple CEO's expected income in 2023 was $49 million, down about 40% compared to the 2022 target ($84 million). But in 2022, Mr. Tim Cook received up to $99.4 million from his leadership of Apple. Although 2023 also exceeded the expected figure by about 28%, the total income of the head of the "bitten apple" still decreased by 36% compared to the same period the previous year.

The Apple CEO's 2023 compensation includes a $3 million salary, stock awards worth more than $46.97 million, and other bonuses of nearly $13.24 million. This does not include Tim Cook's $1.62 million in air travel expenses. The company also paid $820,309 for personal security.

The company also revealed that the average annual income of an employee in 2023 is $94,118, creating a difference of up to 672:1 between Apple CEO and an employee.

In addition, the income of many other leaders also appeared in the report sent to the SEC, including Chief Financial Officer Luca Maestri ($26.93 million), Chief Legal Officer Kate Adams ($26.94 million), Senior Vice President of Retail Deirdre O'Brien ($26.94 million), and Chief Operating Officer Jeff Williams ($26.96 million).
