Microsoft admits update causes Windows 10 to have mysterious problems

According to TechRadar , Microsoft has officially acknowledged the existence of a bug that affects the right-click function on the Windows 10 taskbar after recent updates.

This bug causes users to encounter an unwanted "Open with..." menu instead of the usual list of features when right-clicking on a pinned application on the taskbar.

According to Windows Latest , this bug only affects a small number of users and occurs with certain applications. However, it appears in many recent updates, including the June, May, and even April cumulative updates.

Microsoft says it has identified the cause and is working on a fix, which is expected to be released in an upcoming Windows 10 22H2 update. It's unclear when, but it's likely to be included in the optional June update, before the official July update.

It's worth noting that Microsoft is still actively developing Windows 10, adding new features and even reviving the Beta channel to test them, even though the operating system will stop supporting it in October 2025.
