On the evening of September 4, at the special national relic of Quang Tri Citadel, the People's Army Cinema (under the General Department of Politics, Ministry of National Defense ) coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri province to organize a screening of the film Red Rain to pay tribute to heroic martyrs, veterans and thank the people of Quang Tri.

Speaking at the premiere, Colonel Kieu Thanh Thuy, Deputy Director of the People's Army Cinema and Production Director of the film Red Rain, expressed her deep gratitude for the cooperation and support of agencies, units and people of Quang Tri province during the film production process.

The intense attraction of Red Rain
The film premiere not only had veterans, martyrs' relatives and guests but also attracted hundreds of people in Quang Tri Ward.
An LED screen was set up to show movies to the people, below were candles arranged in the number 81 symbolizing the 81 fierce days and nights of more than 50 years ago.

At the premiere, the film crew also announced and hoped that the people of Quang Tri would not record clips, take photos... and post them on social networks during the screening because Red Rain is still showing nationwide.
Veterans and people were moved when watching the first scenes of the film.

Mr. Le Quoc Anh (46 years old, residing in Quang Tri Ward) after knowing that the film would be shown at the ancient citadel, brought his whole family to enjoy a work based on a true story right where he lives.
The seats for the souls of the heroic martyrs are carefully arranged and placed in the first row.

"The atmosphere here is very meaningful. Even though many people come to watch, the officials always remind us that when we enter the citadel, no matter how good the movie is, we should not clap, always maintain order, walk gently and speak softly... because here every inch of land and grass is the blood and bones of heroic martyrs," Mr. Anh said.

Tomorrow (September 5), there will be two more screenings at 9:30 and 1:30 p.m. at Rio Cinemas (Vincom Plaza Dong Ha) to serve the representatives of leaders, localities that have coordinated with the People's Army Cinema to make films and people in Tich Tuong and An Don villages (Quang Tri Ward) - the places that lent land to the film crew to make a film set.

On September 5 or the morning of September 6, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri province and the People's Army Cinema will continue to organize the screening of Red Rain at the Quang Tri Provincial Cultural Center (Dong Hoi Ward), inviting representatives of leaders and officers of units in Quang Tri province to watch the film.
