On the afternoon of September 16, Mr. Nguyen Phu, Vice Principal of Dong Du Secondary and High School, said that the school will sponsor tickets to see the movie "Red Rain" for 2,000 students from grades 8 to 12. The implementation period is from September 22 to October 2.
According to Mr. Phu, this is an activity within the school's extracurricular program series at the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year.
"Watching movies will be arranged reasonably by the school and will not affect regular study time," Mr. Phu added.

A representative of Dong Du Secondary and High School said that the purpose of this extracurricular activity is not only a historical and artistic experience, but also an opportunity for students to foster love for their homeland and country, and foster a sense of responsibility and a desire to contribute.
It is known that in addition to organizing the screening of the movie "Red Rain", the school also coordinated the screening of several other historical films such as "Buon Ma Thuot Prison - Evidence of War Crimes" and "Y Ngong Niekdam - Outstanding Son of the Central Highlands Mountains and Forests".
Ms. Tran Thi Nga, whose son is studying at Dong Du School, said that the parents are very grateful to the school for organizing these meaningful extracurricular activities for the children. The film "Red Rain" is a film that recreates a heroic historical event that future generations need to know and cherish.
Parents are very supportive of the meaningful work of the school and hope that the school will organize more extracurricular activities. Activities like this will help the children to become more mature in both academic knowledge and historical knowledge. From there, the children will know how to appreciate what their ancestors sacrificed their blood and bones for us to have today.
