Hot weather, Sam Son is crowded with tourists, many hotels are "full"

(Dan Tri) - The hot weather has caused Sam Son beach to be crowded with people coming to cool off. At times, the entire beach was packed with people, and many accommodation facilities were "fully booked".

On July 19, the weather in Thanh Hoa was extremely hot, with temperatures reaching over 40 degrees Celsius at times. At Sam Son beach, thousands of tourists flocked to swim to cool off.

According to records, at around 4pm, along beaches A, B, C, D, thousands of people jostled each other to get to the beach. Accommodation facilities and restaurants along the beach were always full of guests, and the parking lot was also full.

Many restaurant, hotel and beverage stall owners say this is the peak time of the summer tourist season.

“In the past 10 days, the number of visitors to Sam Son has been the highest of the year. Today is hot and sunny, and it is the weekend, so the number of visitors has increased even more,” a business owner shared.

Due to the large number of people swimming in the sea, many tourists choose to stand on the shore to take pictures and find a place to enjoy the cool breeze.

Mr. Nguyen Van Manh, a tourist from Hac Thanh ward, Thanh Hoa province, said that due to the extremely hot weather, at noon on July 19, his family went to Sam Son to find a room to stay, and at the same time took the opportunity to let the children go swimming to cool off.

However, it took him quite a while to find a room to stay, as the hotels were almost fully booked.

Speaking to Dan Tri reporter, a leader of the Department of Culture and Society of Sam Son ward, said that in recent weeks, the number of tourists has been increasing day by day. According to statistics, the locality currently has 1,015 accommodation establishments, but on weekends, many places are in a state of "room shortage".

“This is the peak season of the summer tourist season. According to a survey of hotels, many accommodation facilities were fully booked during the weekend,” he said.
