Nghe An has 13 more communes meeting advanced and model NTM standards.

On the morning of June 28, under the chairmanship of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van De, the Nghe An Province New Rural Area Appraisal Council held a vote to propose recognizing 13 communes as meeting the standards of Advanced and Model New Rural Areas.

At the working session, the Steering Committee of the national target programs of Nghe An province voted to recognize 10 communes as achieving advanced new rural standards, including: Tay Hieu (Thai Hoa town); Nam Linh, Thuong Tan Loc (Nam Dan district); Ngoc Son (Quynh Luu district); Hung Chinh (Vinh city); Nghia Dong (Tan Ky district); Thinh Son, Thuong Son, Van Son, Xuan Son (Do Luong district).

The Steering Committee of National Target Programs of Nghe An province voted to recognize the commune as achieving advanced new rural standards and model new rural areas.

Voting to recognize the 2 communes Nam Thanh, Nam Dan district and Thanh Linh, Thanh Chuong district as meeting the model new rural standards in education ; Quynh Luong, Quynh Luu district as meeting the model new rural standards in production development. 100% of the members of the Appraisal Council attending the meeting voted to recognize the 13 communes above as meeting the new rural standards at all levels.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van De requested that communes that have achieved advanced and model NTM standards need to complete their dossiers to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for recognition. At the same time, they should continue to improve the achieved criteria in a synchronous, sustainable and comprehensive manner; focusing on prioritizing economic development to improve the material and spiritual life of the people.
