Ca Mau people turn to Hung King's death anniversary

In the atmosphere of the whole country, on April 7, at the Hung King Temple (in Giao Khau hamlet, Tan Phu commune, Thoi Binh district), the Party Committee, government and people of Ca Mau held the Hung King's death anniversary with deep respect and gratitude.

Crowds of people came to burn incense at the Temple.

In a solemn atmosphere, provincial leaders, local officials and people performed traditional rituals to pay homage to King Hung, respectfully offering incense, flowers and items to commemorate the merits of their ancestors.

Kien Giang Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Tien Hai and provincial leaders burned incense to commemorate the Hung Kings and ancestors who built the country.

The Hung King's death anniversary is a beautiful traditional cultural feature of the Vietnamese people, demonstrating the morality of remembering the source of water when drinking water, and is an opportunity for today's generations to review the glorious tradition of their ancestors in building and defending the country. From there, it arouses national pride and personal responsibility in the work of building the homeland and the country.

The offerings to the Hung Kings were all local specialties.

Before that, within the framework of the death anniversary ceremony, the festival took place with competitions of folk games such as: sampan racing, tug of war, sack jumping, balloon popping... Participants were officials, civil servants, public employees in the district and people in Tan Phu commune. The folk games with strong festival features, the unique mark of the people of the West attracted a large number of people to participate, watch and cheer. All created a jubilant atmosphere for the death anniversary of the National Ancestor, making it more bustling and exciting.

The Hung Kings' Commemoration Ceremony at Hung Kings Temple, Giao Khau Hamlet, Tan Phu Commune, Thoi Binh District, Ca Mau Province bears the unique cultural features of the people of the southernmost land.

It is known that in order for this year's organization to take place solemnly and ensure the set purpose, the locality has made preparations very early, with coordination and consensus, ensuring the organization is safe, economical, professional and effective, and most of all, the people's hearts are turned towards the National Ancestor Hung King.
