On an area of 15.5 hectares of land accumulated through the forms of purchase, exchange and lease from households without production conditions, Mr. Nguyen Ba Chung, Thanh Son village, Trung Chinh commune, has linked up with enterprises to grow rice. His family's production has been quite favorable when Hong Quang Agricultural Materials Company Limited (Ninh Binh) purchased rice right at the field. Mr. Chung said: "This winter-spring crop, my family planted the following rice varieties: Huong Binh, DQ 11, QR1, Nep Huong. During the production process, the company supported seeds, agricultural materials, and transferred cultivation techniques. Up to this point, the rice has been harvested, the yield reached 80 quintals/ha and the purchase price is 920,000 VND/quintal, an increase of 70,000 VND/quintal compared to the winter-spring crop in 2023". Due to a good harvest and good prices, after deducting expenses, his family earned over 386 million VND, an increase of nearly 90 million VND compared to previous crops. Mr. Chung said that the cooperation of enterprises to purchase rice right at the field brought many benefits to his family. Because, in addition to not having to hire workers to transport, dry rice, find and rent warehouses to store rice, it also helped his family have a stable income.

In this year's spring crop, Mr. Ha Huu Thong's family in Tien Chau village, Minh Nghia commune planted 4 hectares of Nep Huong, Thai Xuyen 111, J03 rice varieties... The entire harvested rice area was purchased by Cuc Phuong Company Limited ( Ninh Binh ) right at the field. Compared to previous years, the yield and selling price are higher. On average, 1 hectare of rice yields 80 quintals/ha with the enterprise purchasing price of 720,000 VND/quintal, the family has an income of nearly 70 million VND. The money from selling rice is paid by the enterprise no later than 10-15 days. In the entire Nong Cong district, there are thousands of households participating in the association through the cooperative as an intermediary, selling rice right at the field to enterprises.

Along with land accumulation and concentration, and mechanization in production, Nong Cong district has promoted cooperation with enterprises inside and outside the province in production and product consumption. Up to now, the district has attracted 6 enterprises and 10 cooperatives in the district to join in cooperation and consumption of rice products in the fields for people in communes with an area of 3,600 hectares/10,319 hectares of rice land. Among them, many enterprises have formed large production chains from providing seeds, fertilizers, technical guidance to product consumption with large areas such as: Hong Quang Agricultural Materials Company Limited, Cuc Phuong Company Limited, Duy Nguyen Company Limited...

Mr. Le Ngoc Thang, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Nong Cong district, said: "When businesses cooperate and purchase products for farmers right in the field, in addition to forming the habit of cultivating according to modern agricultural trends, it also brings many benefits to farmers such as saving on transportation, drying and preserving rice after harvest. In particular, it fundamentally solves the problem of "good harvest, low price" and the income value is higher than that of production areas that are not linked and purchase products right in the field."
