Nutifood chooses My Thuan Project Management Board to manage the billion-dollar pedestrian bridge project.

Accordingly, My Thuan Project Management Board will advise and manage on behalf of Nutifood throughout the implementation process of the Saigon River Pedestrian Bridge project, from preparation to completion and handover.

Specifically, My Thuan Project Management Board is responsible for the following items: Overall project management (management of design, plans, project progress, legal documents, project-related documents, etc.); Bidding and contractor selection management; Contract management; Construction management (management of quality, progress, volume, labor safety, etc.); Cost management and settlement.

This is the next step taken by Nutifood right after the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee approved the investment policy of the project established by the company and fully funded on October 4, 2024.

In addition to signing the project management consulting contract, Nutifood will continue to select contractors to carry out other items of the Saigon River Pedestrian Bridge construction project such as: Construction survey, Consulting on construction drawing design, Consulting on design review, etc.

Previously, Nutifood signed a contract with the consortium of Chodai & Kiso - Jiban Vietnam Co., Ltd., Chodai Co., Ltd., Niwa Architecture Co., Ltd. to coordinate the implementation of the following items: Project proposal and feasibility study report (including basic design). The consortium of Chodai & Kiso - Jiban Vietnam Co., Ltd., Chodai Co., Ltd., Niwa Architecture Co., Ltd. is also the first prize winner in the architectural competition: Architectural design plan for the pedestrian bridge across the Saigon River according to Decision No. 4589/QD-UBND of Ho Chi Minh City approved on October 9, 2023.

It is expected that Nutifood will start construction of the pedestrian bridge across the Saigon River on April 30, 2025, and inaugurate it in 2027 with a total estimated capital of VND996.9 billion.
