The Javan pangolin was discovered by Mr. Thuan.

The Java pangolin ( scientific name Manis Javanica, group IB in the list of endangered and rare wild animals) mentioned above weighs 2.9 kg and was discovered by Mr. Che Quang Thuan, residing in An Do Residential Group - Kim Tra Ward, while it was crawling into his garden this morning, September 6.

As soon as he discovered it, Mr. Thuan contacted and handed it over to the People's Committee of Kim Tra Ward. At the time of handover, the pangolin was in completely normal condition.

"After receiving it, the government will coordinate with relevant forces to complete some procedures and hand it over to Bach Ma National Park for care and release into the natural environment," said Mr. Mai Van Xuan.
