Dissemination and legal education for ethnic minorities

BAC NINH - From September 15 to 18, in An Lac commune, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Bac Ninh province organized a campaign to disseminate and educate the law and propagate ethnic policies for people in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

This is an activity under Project 10 - National Target Program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas by 2025.

Comrade Hoang Xuan Tung, Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, disseminated some contents on ethnic policies to people in Thac village, An Lac commune.

During 4 days, reporters from the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions and the Department of Justice disseminated the law in 12 villages with the participation of nearly 1,000 ethnic minority people.

The content focuses on disseminating a number of provisions of the 2024 Land Law, the 2015 Civil Code, the 2014 Law on Marriage and Family; Government regulations on ethnic affairs; authority of local authorities according to the 2-level local government model in the field of ethnic affairs, beliefs and religions.

In addition, disseminate some contents related to the State's preferential policies implemented in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in terms of health, education , improving the quality of human resources, preserving and promoting traditional culture, etc.

Through this, we aim to raise awareness and sense of law compliance of each citizen, family and community, contributing to the effective implementation of the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

According to the plan, from now until the end of 2025, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions and the Department of Justice will continue to coordinate to deploy 3-4 campaigns to disseminate, educate on the law and propagate ethnic policies in communes with concentrated ethnic minorities living in the province.
