Speaking at the congress, the Vice President acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the outstanding results and achievements in the patriotic emulation movement of Hung Yen province in the 2020-2025 period, contributing to the outstanding achievements in socio-economic development of the province as well as the country.
The Vice President highly appreciated the development aspirations and solutions proposed by the Patriotic Emulation Congress; suggested that the locality continue to improve the leadership capacity, fighting strength of the Party, and management capacity of the government, continue to overcome difficulties and challenges to focus on implementing political tasks, building a rich, beautiful, civilized and modern province.
On the other hand, it is necessary to continue to innovate and improve the quality of emulation and reward work in the spirit of Directive 41-CT/TW of the Politburo, ensuring quality, efficiency, substance, and closeness to task requirements. Emulation movements need to focus on overcoming limitations, creating breakthrough and sustainable development.
Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan asked the locality to actively complete documents to successfully organize the Provincial Party Congress; continue to thoroughly grasp the Central's instructions on building a patriotic emulation movement.
He emphasized that the reward work must continue to be innovated, close to reality; must be based on the effectiveness and results of emulation movements and achievements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, democracy, objectivity, right person for the right job, educational and exemplary.
It is necessary to pay attention to rewarding the subjects at the grassroots level, the collectives and individuals directly involved in work, labor, production and combat; continue to improve and enhance the quality, efficiency of operations and remuneration regimes for the team doing emulation and reward work at all levels.
It is known that in the past 5 years, Hung Yen has had a number of outstanding movements that can be mentioned such as: The movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas" has achieved many positive results; up to now, the whole province has 2 districts meeting advanced new rural standards, the number of communes meeting advanced new rural standards is estimated at 47.8%, the number of communes meeting model new rural standards is estimated at 21%.
The movement “The whole country joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind” has contributed to a rapid reduction in the poverty rate, much lower than the national average (1.14%). The movement “The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses” has brought about clear results; in a short time, the province has built and repaired 4,374 households, with a total cost of 346.7 billion VND, completed 3 months ahead of schedule, with funding mainly from socialized sources.
In the context of digital transformation and international integration, the congress has special significance in honoring and praising typical advanced collectives and individuals; replicating practical emulation movements associated with real life; arousing the spirit of innovation, improving labor productivity and sustainable development.
