Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc visited and presented gifts to policy families

On the afternoon of July 23, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc visited and presented gifts to policy families and people with revolutionary contributions in An Minh and Dong Hoa communes, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025). At the same time, he surveyed the implementation of two-level government in the two communes.

In An Minh commune, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc visited and presented gifts to policy families and people with meritorious services to the revolution, including Mr. Nguyen Van Muon, a 1/4 disabled soldier, and Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Danh, both residing in An Minh commune. In Dong Hoa commune, the working delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Pham Thi Chinh and Mr. Nguyen Van Xuyen, a 2/4 disabled soldier, both residing in Dong Hoa commune.

Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc kindly inquired about the health and life of the wounded soldiers, martyrs, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and families with meritorious services to the revolution in the cause of fighting for national independence, building and defending the Fatherland.

On the same day, Vice Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc worked with leaders of An Minh and Dong Hoa communes to survey the implementation of the two-level government model after the merger. The delegation acknowledged the sense of responsibility and proactiveness of local officials in serving the people, ensuring that administrative activities are not interrupted.

Comrade Ngo Cong Thuc emphasized that the consolidation of the apparatus and streamlining of the organization after the merger must be associated with improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management, taking the people as the center of service. At the same time, he requested that localities continue to listen to people's opinions and promptly resolve arising problems so that the two-level government model can truly be effective...
