Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directs Quang Nam Medical College

On April 19, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province announced that it had issued a notice on the assignment of management activities of Quang Nam Medical College .

Implementing the conclusion of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on personnel work and the conclusion of the Party Personnel Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee assigned Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, to manage the activities of Quang Nam Medical College until the competent authority decides on the personnel responsible for directing and operating this school.

Previously, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province decided to temporarily suspend Mr. Huynh Tan Tuan, Principal of Quang Nam Medical College , from his position to serve the investigation.

The suspension period is from April 10 until a decision is made by the competent authority.

As reported by Thanh Nien Newspaper, the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Nam Province has decided to initiate a criminal case to investigate the act of abusing position and power while performing official duties that occurred at Quang Nam Medical College .

Specifically, the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Nam Province has initiated a case and prosecuted Mr. Huynh Tan Tuan, Principal, and Mr. Nguyen Ba, former Principal of Quang Nam Medical College .

In addition, the Quang Nam Provincial Police Department also prosecuted Mr. Nguyen Duc Don (Head of Planning and Finance Department, Chief Accountant of the school) and a business director directly related to the case with the same charges.

After prosecuting the defendants, the Quang Nam Provincial Police Department released them on bail and banned them from leaving their place of residence because they confessed honestly and had a clear place of residence.
