Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung attended the inauguration of two projects worth nearly 1,800 billion in Binh Dinh.

(NLDO) – During a working trip to Binh Dinh, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung attended the inauguration ceremony of two projects worth nearly VND1,800 billion ahead of schedule in this province.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Binh Dinh Province (March 31, 1975 - March 31, 2025), on the afternoon of March 27, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh Province held the inauguration ceremony of two projects: the Road connecting from National Highway (QL) 19 to Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park connecting with Quy Nhon Port and the Dinh River Flood Drainage System, Quy Nhon City.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung and leaders of Binh Dinh province cut the ribbon to inaugurate the project of the road connecting from National Highway 19 to Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park connecting to Quy Nhon port.

Immediately after landing at Phu Cat airport during a working trip to Binh Dinh, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung attended the inauguration ceremony of these two projects.

The project of the route connecting National Highway 19 to Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park has a total length of 19.445 km, a 12 m wide roadbed, an 11 m wide asphalt concrete road surface, with 2 motor vehicle lanes and 2 non-motor vehicle lanes.

The total investment of the project is more than 1,170 billion VND, construction started in August 2023, completed after 19 months of construction, 5 months ahead of schedule. Putting the route into operation helps shorten the distance from National Highway 19 to the center of Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park from 31.5 km to 16.5 km.

The road connecting National Highway 19 to Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park connecting to Quy Nhon port opened to traffic after the inauguration ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung asked Binh Dinh province to continue to effectively exploit the route, promote investment attraction in Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park, and focus on developing industries and logistics services to maximize the advantage of connecting with Quy Nhon Port and the Central Highlands provinces.

Meanwhile, the Dinh River Flood Drainage System project in Nhon Binh and Nhon Phu wards, Quy Nhon City, with a total investment of VND 602 ​​billion, started construction in March 2022 and was completed and put into use in December 2024, 7 months ahead of schedule.

The project starts at Phu Xuan dam - Ha Thanh river junction, ends at Quy Nhon 1 spillway. The main items of the project include widening and dredging the riverbed with a length of 3.1 km, river width from 40-130 m; widening Dinh market bridge on National Highway 19 from 24 m to 45 m; building a traffic road with a roadbed width of 14 m, road length of 6.06 km and lighting system on both sides of Dinh river with a length of 6.4 km.
