Coordinate propaganda to implement agricultural, rural and farmer credit policies

With the agreement of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, on the afternoon of December 24, branches of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development ( Agribank ) in the area held a conference to evaluate the coordination of propaganda work between Agribank branches and press agencies in the province in 2024; organized a meeting with press agencies located in the province on the occasion of Spring At Ty 2025.

At the conference, leaders of Agribank Thanh Hoa informed about the business activities of Agribank branches in 2024, the directions and tasks of the units in 2025. In 2024, the business activities of Agribank branches in the province received attention and support from local Party committees, authorities, and press agencies, regularly providing information about the activities of Agribank branches in the province, especially the propaganda of implementing credit policies for agriculture , rural areas, and farmers.

Currently, Agribank has a network of operations in all areas of the province, including: 3 Type I branches, 31 Type II branches, 34 transaction offices, 2 mobile transaction points with specialized cars, 88 ATMs/CDMs, 495 POS machines. Agribank branches are accompanying more than 1.3 million customers with deposits, loans and using banking financial products and services.

During the operation process, together with the entire Agribank system, Agribank branches in Thanh Hoa province have always promoted their pioneering and exemplary role in implementing the Party and State's policies and guidelines on currency and banking with many creative, effective and suitable solutions, affirming their key role in investing in the "Tam Nong" sector; making important contributions to economic and social development, effectively implementing the national target program on new rural construction, the sustainable poverty reduction program, the digital transformation program and the national comprehensive financial strategy... contributing to the fight against the "black credit" evil, ensuring social security and order, especially in rural areas.

By the end of 2024, the total mobilized capital of the Branches will reach VND 59,700 billion, an increase of VND 4,925 billion, accounting for 33% of the market share of credit institutions. Total outstanding loans will reach VND 66,450 billion, an increase of VND 7,024 billion, accounting for 31% of the market share. Banking service revenue will reach VND 387 billion, an increase of VND 12 billion, a growth rate of 3.2%.

Along with business development, in 2024, Agribank branches sponsored more than 10 billion VND for charity and social security activities with outstanding activities such as: sponsoring social security for health and education; giving Tet gifts to policy families and poor households; sponsoring gratitude activities; supporting people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3;...

At the conference, representatives of press agencies proposed many solutions to improve coordination in propagating the implementation of agricultural, rural and farmer credit policies on mass media, contributing to spreading models of effective use of economic capital, promoting local socio-economic development.

In 2025, Agribank branches in the province will continue to maintain and promote the position of a leading 100% state-owned commercial bank, continue to modernize technology, expand the network; diversify and improve the quality of products and services; promote capital mobilization and credit investment, in accordance with the Party's policies and guidelines and the province's socio-economic development planning; constantly improve working methods, creating favorable conditions for all economic sectors and all classes of people to use many of Agribank's products and services.

The results achieved in business activities and the positive contributions of Agribank branches to the socio-economic development of the province have been evaluated, recognized and commended by all levels with many noble achievements: for many consecutive years, 3 branches have been in the top of the emulation movement of the region and the entire Agribank system; for many consecutive years, they have been awarded certificates of merit and emulation flags by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Governor of the State Bank and the Prime Minister. In 2024, with the comprehensive completion and exceeding of all planned and business targets, it is likely that Agribank branches in the province will continue to achieve achievements in the top of the emulation movement of the entire Agribank system.
