On the same day, speaking with Thanh Nien Newspaper, Ms. TTHA (27 years old, in Binh My commune - old Cu Chi district) said that she sent her son M. (4 years old) to ABM Kindergarten (Dong Thanh commune) since May 5 and it has been more than 2 months now.
During his days studying here, Ms. A's son showed unusual behavior every time he came home, like he was scared when doing something.
"Before, when my baby took a bath, I closed the door normally, but now when I close the door, he screams and runs out. He shows signs like banging his head against the water tank and hiding in a corner when he does something," said Ms. A.
Seeing her child showing unusual signs, Ms. A recently transferred her child to another school. After a week of studying at the new school, she was shocked and devastated to learn that her child had been abused at the old school through clips and images sent by a retired teacher who recounted the incident.
According to Ms. A., for the past 3 months, her child has had to endure abusive behavior such as the teacher threatening her with scissors and syringes, causing her to be mentally disturbed.
From the clips provided by Ms. A, it can be seen that her 4-year-old son was pinned down on the tile floor by a teacher named H. In another clip, Ms. A's son was held tightly by a teacher named H., who threatened to cut his leg with scissors, causing him to cry out in panic. Ms. A reported this to the police.
Parents 'accuse' teacher of violence. Holding scissors and threatening to make boy panic
Regarding this incident, the leader of Dong Thanh Commune People's Committee said that after receiving the information, the Commune People's Committee established a working group to go to ABM kindergarten to inspect.
Upon inspection, the facility was found to be unqualified to operate. The working group requested the facility’s owner, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh (45 years old), to remove the sign and write a commitment to stop childcare activities without a new license.
"Regarding the issue of whether or not violence occurred at this facility, Dong Thanh Commune Police are still coordinating with relevant units to continue verifying and clarifying," said the leader of Dong Thanh Commune People's Committee.
