Ninh Binh women promote the tradition of solidarity and creativity to build a strong Women's Union organization.

Following the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, the direction and orientation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, in recent years, especially since the beginning of the 2021-2026 term, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Women's Union has focused on leading, directing, building programs, plans and highly feasible solutions to carry out emulation movements and tasks of the Union in a creative, effective, practical and grassroots manner. The focus is on promoting propaganda and mobilizing women to effectively carry out emulation movements and campaigns, contributing to the implementation of local political tasks. In particular, the emulation movement "Building Ninh Binh women of the new era" has been deployed by all levels of the Union along with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style and local emulation movements in a systematic, appropriate and quality manner. Over 90% of the province's cadres and members have responded to more than 700 projects and tasks. Through the emulation movement, over 5,000 typical and outstanding models have been recognized and rewarded.

The emulation movement "Skilled Mass Mobilization" continues to be effectively implemented. The Women's Unions at all levels have registered with the Steering Committee of the emulation movement "Skilled Mass Mobilization" at the same level to build over 500 typical models. Many effective models have been recognized and highly appreciated by the Party Committee, the government and the people, and continue to be replicated in the province, such as: "Clean houses, beautiful roads", "Women's tree and flower roads", "Waste classification and treatment at source", "Green Saturday", "Clean Sunday", "10 minutes to clean house, clean alley"... The Women's Union also actively propagates and mobilizes women to practice civilized tourism, build community tourism service models, respond to "Hoa Lu Festival", "Tam Coc Trang An Golden Color" Week; "Cuc Phuong Great Forest" Week; "Ninh Binh-Trang An Festival"... Successfully coordinated to organize a series of events: "Green Market - Protecting the rural environment" at Tam Coc ferry; forum "Making the world cleaner", building the model "Women living green". Thereby contributing to promoting the potential and strengths of Ninh Binh tourism.

With the motto "Accompanying for the development of women", the Women's Union at all levels has identified mobilizing and supporting women to develop a sustainable economy and improve the quality of life as a key task to create strong changes in women's awareness and actions, arousing the will to be self-reliant, proactively solving personal and family problems, fulfilling civic duties and social responsibilities. Therefore, since the beginning of the term, the Women's Union at all levels has actively coordinated with the Bank for Social Policies and the Provincial Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development to support over 50,000 women to borrow capital for economic development, with a total outstanding loan of over VND 3,505 billion. Coordinated the organization of 2,590 science and technology transfer sessions, 75 vocational training classes for over 200,000 women; introduced jobs to over 7,085 members and women; Consulting and supporting the establishment of 41 cooperatives and cooperative groups managed by women with 545 members; 61 women started/started businesses effectively; 841 women escaped poverty. In particular, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union advised on the establishment of the Steering Committee for the Project "Supporting cooperatives managed by women, creating jobs for female workers by 2030" at the provincial level and 8/8 districts and cities issued plans and regulations to implement the Project.

Along with that, the work of propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, the quality of supervision, social criticism, and policy proposals related to women, family, children and gender equality has been promoted. The Unions at all levels have chaired and coordinated the organization of 436 supervisions and 108 social criticism conferences on the implementation of policies and laws related to women, children and the Union organizations...; participated in giving opinions on 920 draft laws, sub-law documents and documents of Party Congresses at all levels, local projects and plans related to women and gender equality. At the same time, over 300 dialogue conferences were organized between leaders of Party committees, authorities, heads of Unions at all levels, sectors with union members and women; Pay attention to resolving petitions within the authority, promptly answer concerns and problems, create trust among members and women, thereby improving the effectiveness of participating in giving opinions on Party building and government building.

Humanitarian charity and social security work is regularly and effectively carried out by the Association at all levels, such as the programs "Millions of gifts to share love", "Godmother", "Accompanying women in the border areas"... The Association at all levels coordinates with businesses and philanthropists to organize visits and give over 20,000 gifts, build 52 shelters for policy families, Association officials, disadvantaged women, poor students overcoming difficulties, women and children in border areas; mobilize and connect to sponsor 117 orphaned and disadvantaged children..., with a total value of over 10 billion VND.

The Women's Union at all levels actively mobilizes society to implement gender equality for the advancement of women. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union has advised the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to organize a conference on female cadre work to assess the current situation and discuss solutions to develop a team of female leaders and managers. Directing the Women's Union at all levels to review and grasp the current situation of female cadres in each unit, discover female human resources, proactively advise and propose to the Party Committees at the same level on training, fostering, arranging, perfecting cadres, and introducing female cadres to participate in Party Committees and People's Councils at all levels. Therefore, the proportion of female Party Committees at all levels for the 2020-2025 term and the proportion of female National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2021-2026 term have increased compared to the previous term.

One of the hallmarks of the Union's work is that the Provincial Women's Union has focused on directing the grassroots Unions to innovate the content and methods of gathering and attracting members, and accompanying the construction of a strong base. The training to improve the qualifications and skills of the Union's staff has been increasingly paid attention to by the Unions at all levels through visiting and studying effective practical models, organizing exchanges of "Outstanding Women's Union Branch Chairmen"... The Union has also advised and organized training and capacity building for 100% of specialized cadres at the provincial and district levels, and grassroots Union cadres; sent Union cadres to study to improve their professional qualifications, skills, political theory, and State management according to regulations; advised the Party Committee to supplement planning, create motivation for promising cadres; introduced and proposed the Party Committee to admit 1,618 outstanding women, of whom 66 women's union branch chairmen have been admitted to the Party. In addition, the Association at all levels always diversifies the forms of branch activities, aiming to gather and attract members through the model of "Model Women's Branch", "Female Workers' Club", "Folk Dance and Sports" Club... Up to now, the rate of attracting members in the whole province has reached 86.9%. In particular, the Association has attracted 555 honorary male members, who are active nuclei in implementing gender equality work in the locality.

The application of information technology and the improvement of the Association's operational efficiency continue to be promoted. 100% of the Association's levels use software in the Association's system, effectively use the Association's website and 1,500 Zalo and Facebook groups, 58 Fanpages..., promptly provide information, orient public opinion as well as support women to adapt to the 4th Industrial Revolution.

In addition, the Women's Union at all levels organized well the activities to celebrate the important events of the Party, the country, and the Union. Strengthening propaganda, educating traditions, mobilizing women to respond to cultural and artistic movements, practicing health, preserving and promoting the traditional cultural beauty of localities and regions, such as: Responding to "Ao Dai Week"; cultural exchanges; folk dance and sports competitions; meetings and discussions on "Portrait of a Modern Woman", "Proud to be a Vietnamese Woman"; paying attention to visiting and giving gifts to cadres and female members of religious and ethnic groups, religious establishments on the occasion of Buddha's birthday, An Cu season, Christmas, and Lunar New Year. The Provincial Women's Union advised the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee to welcome the Cuban High-Level Women's Delegation and the Lao Women's Student Delegation to visit and work in Ninh Binh, ensuring solemnity and safety; actively participate in activities to preserve sea and island sovereignty, civilized tourism, promote the image of the country and people of Ninh Binh to international friends.

With the achievements gained in recent years, the Provincial Women's Union was honored to receive the Excellent Emulation Flag from the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, and the Provincial People's Committee; and Certificates of Merit from many ministries, branches of the Central Committee and the province. In particular, in 2022, the Provincial Women's Union was awarded the First Class Independence Medal by the President. These are noble awards recognizing the results of the journey of continuous efforts, inheritance, creativity and development of generations of cadres, members, and women at all levels in the province; the attention, direction, and orientation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union; the close leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; the attention and facilitation of the Party Committee, the government, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, departments, branches, and organizations in the province.

The achievements are also a strong motivation for cadres, members and women of Ninh Binh to continue to make efforts, strive, overcome all difficulties, well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, actively respond to patriotic emulation movements; enthusiastically participate in studying, working, laboring and producing; build a strong Association, work for women's happiness and gender equality, contribute with the Party Committee, authorities, all levels and sectors to successfully implement the Resolution of the 22nd Ninh Binh Provincial Party Congress.
