Phu Tho offers incense to commemorate King Hung before the 1st Congress

Before the spirit of the Hung Kings and the deities worshiping the King, on behalf of the delegates attending the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, Provincial Party Secretary Dang Xuan Phong reported to the Hung Kings and predecessors who had contributed to building and defending the country, the results achieved in the past term and the work of organizing the 1st Phu Tho Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

In 2025, facing the objective and inevitable requirements of the cause of national innovation and development; with the aspiration to realize the goal of building Vietnam into a strong, prosperous and happy nation; our entire Party and people have unanimously implemented the restructuring of development space, arrangement and merger of provincial and communal administrative units and the construction of two-level local governments.

On July 1, 2025, the newly merged Phu Tho province from the three provinces of Phu Tho, Hoa Binh and Vinh Phuc officially came into operation, opening up a new space. With high determination and great efforts of the entire Party Committee and people of Phu Tho province, they have done well in Party building, stabilized the organization and apparatus of the entire political system, effectively resolved difficulties and problems arising from practice, gradually put the activities of the two-level local government into order; focused on socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security; determined to successfully implement the set goals and tasks and achieved many important and comprehensive results in all fields.

Besides the achievements, along with new opportunities and chances opening up, Phu Tho province still has many shortcomings and difficulties that need to be overcome and resolved more effectively in the new period.

The 1st Congress of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 is an important political event; the first Provincial Party Congress of the new Phu Tho province. Attending the Congress were 500 delegates, representing more than 257,000 party members of 152 party committees under the Provincial Party Committee.

The Congress has the theme: Building a clean and strong Party organization and political system; promoting the strength of great solidarity and cultural traditions of the homeland; pioneering in innovation, creativity, and digital transformation; creating breakthroughs for rapid and sustainable development, together with the whole country to be self-reliant, confident, and move forward in the era of national development. With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", the Congress will consider and decide on major policies and orientations, creating a solid political foundation for the development of Phu Tho province in the new period, contributing worthily to the cause of innovation and development of the country.

On behalf of the delegation, the Provincial Party Secretary affirmed the determination to promote the highest spirit of solidarity and unity to successfully organize the 1st Congress of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee; join hands, maintain discipline, innovate comprehensively, take drastic and creative actions to bring the Congress Resolution into life, turning aspirations into achievements. Phu Tho Province will constantly strive with the highest determination and responsibility for stability, progress, sustainable development, prosperity, and strong identity; at the same time, take care to preserve and restore the ancestral worshiping structures for the descendants of Lac Hong to worship forever.

After the incense offering ceremony at the Upper Temple, the delegates offered incense and flowers at the Hung King Mausoleum; offered flowers at the relief of Uncle Ho talking with officers and soldiers of the Vanguard Army Corps and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Monument of Heroic Martyrs of Phu Tho province.
