Quang Nam organizes the "Hoi An" Sea Festival

The Sea Festival event "Hoi An - Summer Emotions 2024" organized by the People's Committee of Hoi An City ( Quang Nam ) took place from mid-June to July 21 with many attractive activities held at the beaches and islands of Cu Lao Cham. This activity is within the framework of the National Biodiversity Year - Quang Nam 2024 with the theme "Living in harmony with nature". This is also one of the activities responding to the stimulus program to attract tourists to Quang Nam in 2024, contributing to promoting and introducing the strengths of sea and island tourism resources and focusing on developing "Hoi An - Green tourism destination".

The “Hoi An - Summer Emotions 2024” Sea Festival will open on June 15 at Cua Dai Beach. In addition, the event will have many activities taking place from June 14 to 16 such as: Children's Summer Camp; the launching ceremony of “National Action Month to Prevent and Combat Domestic Violence” and “Family Festival - Connecting Love” in Hoi An City in 2024.

The dance program combines music , culinary, entertainment activities on the beach, DJ performances, fire circus, sea sports games, kite flying activities, space for displaying and selling OCOP products, and folk dance performance "Summer Dance".

At An Bang beach, there is an event called "Endless Summer" with an art space themed on the sea using lanterns, recycled wood, coastal specialties, beach music exchange, and sports .

At Cua Dai beach, there is a space for music, cuisine, sports; weekly music exchange performances by street music groups and Acoustic clubs.

In addition, there are also sports activities "Back to the fishing village" such as tug of war, casting nets on the sand, flag-catching, boat racing on the sand, net weaving... among people in the blocks; Yoga exchange "Breath of the sea"; mini beach soccer tournament (women) and tug of war in the water for tourists.

Every Saturday and Sunday during the sea festival, there will be a kite flying festival to introduce and experience artistic kite flying, encouraging people and tourists to join in kite flying activities on the beach and fields in Hoi An.

In addition, at Cu Lao Cham Island, Tan Hiep Commune held a sea and island week with the theme "Ocean cleaning campaign" to guide people and tourists to join in cleaning beaches and coral reefs in response to the National Biodiversity Restoration Year.... Especially, in July, at Cu Lao Cham, there was a festival event called "Red Corn Season"; coral summer camp to experience coral restoration, make nursery frames and plant coral on natural rock; learn about green lifestyle.
