This Rural and Agricultural Census is taking place nationwide and is of particular importance in comprehensively assessing the current situation of rural areas, agriculture and the lives of rural residents. The results of the Census will be an important database for planning sustainable development policies in the new period.

This year's census took place in the context of many major administrative changes, especially the arrangement and merger of commune-level administrative units, which posed many difficulties in organizing the census. In order to successfully carry out the census in Dong Nai province on schedule and with quality, the Provincial Steering Committee for the Rural and Agricultural Census requested the Commune-level Census Steering Committee to strengthen inspection and supervision work to provide timely direction for problems and difficulties during the investigation process.

Party committees at all levels, authorities, the Fatherland Front, organizations, cadres, party members, union members, and association members need to clearly understand the purpose, requirements, significance, and importance of this census; identify this as an important task of the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army, of all levels and sectors, so it is necessary to focus on unified leadership and direction, and complete it synchronously in all survey areas.

Relevant units need to strengthen propaganda work on mass media; each investigator and team leader is a propagandist so that people clearly understand the purpose and meaning of the Census in order to help people cooperate responsibly with investigators, declare correctly, fully, and honestly the information required by the survey form. During the days of conducting the survey, the investigation force needs to use information technology in communication work, widely propagate, and create people's support for the program.
