The surprising scenario continued to take place in the first semi-final match of the men's doubles category 6.5 when the pair Nguyen Duc Hung - Pham Huy Hoang was led by a large margin of 7 points by the pair Khanh Tran - Hoang Huy and there was almost no hope of reversing the situation when athlete Duc Hung suffered a muscle strain and needed medical care.

However, after returning to compete, the athlete pair Duc Hung - Huy Hoang turned the situation around in an unbelievable way, winning 15-14 and gaining the right to play in the final match.

The pair Duc Hung - Huy Hoang immediately entered the final match of the men's doubles category 6.5 against two athletes Le Viet Hung and Nguyen Dang Dung at competition court number 1.

The athlete couple Le Viet Hung and Nguyen Dang Dung showed their fiery spirit and determination in each match, when they previously traveled more than 300km from Lao Cai province to Hanoi to participate in the Dan Tri newspaper pickleball tournament.

Having just finished the semi-final match with an exhausting comeback, Duc Hung and Huy Hoang's physical strength was clearly depleted, although they still maintained their technique and quick, skillful ball handling at the net.

Viet Hung and Dang Dung quickly ended the final match with a score difference of 15-5, thereby winning the championship of the men's doubles category 6.5 of the Dan Tri newspaper pickleball tournament.

At the end of the second day of competition, the Organizing Committee awarded trophies, prizes and gifts to the pairs of athletes with excellent achievements in the men's doubles category 5.5.

The championship was won by the couple Le Dang Khoa - Le Phu; second prize was won by the couple Tran Ngoc Tuan - Tran Duc Le; third prize was won by the couple Tong Ngoc Long - Quang Linh.

In the men's doubles category 6.5, the championship belonged to the athlete couple Le Viet Hung - Nguyen Dang Dung; second prize was awarded to the athlete couple Pham Huy Hoang - Nguyen Duc Hung; third prize belonged to the athlete couple Khanh Tran - Hoang Huy.
