This year, 76,435 candidates registered for the 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City, a decrease of 27,330 students compared to last year.
This year, 115 public high schools in Ho Chi Minh City will enroll 70,070 students in grade 10.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, this year's math scores are higher than last year's. Most candidates scored 6-7 points, while last year most candidates scored 4.25-5.25 points. The number of candidates scoring 9.75, 9.25 and 9 points in math is also higher than last year.
On the contrary, the foreign language exam scores for grade 10 this year are lower than in 2024. The number of candidates scoring 10, 9, and 75 is only about 1/3 compared to last year.
Many foreign language exam graders said that this year's foreign language exam score range will certainly be lower than in 2024. Candidates scoring 5.5 - 6.25 are the majority, while last year the majority of candidates scored 8.75 points.
Only literature subject has score distribution not changed much.
It is known that this year is the first year that 9th grade students take the 10th grade entrance exam according to the 2018 general education program.
Announcement of exam scores and admission scores for grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia School
According to plan, today the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City will also announce the exam scores and admission scores for grade 6 of Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School for the 2025-2026 school year.
From June 23 to 28, parents submit admission applications at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School.
Students who need to re-examine their scores will fill out an application and submit it at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School from June 23 to 25.
June 29: Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training will announce the results of the review.
