Samsung Display awards 100 scholarships to disadvantaged students

BAC NINH - On the morning of September 17, the Bac Ninh Province Association for Promotion of Education in collaboration with Samsung Display Vietnam Limited Company organized the awarding of 100 scholarships to students with difficult circumstances who have made great efforts in their studies.

Here, Mr. Kim Seung Wook, Human Resources Director of Samsung Display Vietnam Co., Ltd., presented 2 million VND in cash and a gift worth 500,000 VND to 100 students from primary, secondary and high schools in the province. The gift was given at the beginning of the new school year to help students buy school supplies, motivating them to strive to excel in their studies, practice, and become good citizens.

This is an annual program between the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education and Samsung Display Vietnam Co., Ltd. Over the past 10 years, the program has awarded 1,700 scholarships and gifts worth 1.9 billion VND to students in the province. From these scholarships, many students have become engineers and skilled workers at enterprises, including Samsung, and have actively contributed to the development of Bac Ninh province.

Samsung Display's scholarship program demonstrates the noble gesture of the enterprise, and at the same time contributes to the implementation of the Party and State's policy of "no one is left behind". In recognition of this activity, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education awarded the Certificate of Golden Heart for Contributing to the Promotion of Education, Talent Promotion, and Building a Learning Society in 2025 to Samsung Display Vietnam Co., Ltd.
