Oxfam Vietnam's reporter presented some basic knowledge on facilitating and running a meeting.

At the training course, members were introduced by Oxfam Vietnam reporters to basic knowledge on facilitating and running meetings; analyzing gender equality issues in specific situations and proposing solutions to enhance participation and implement gender equality in group activities. In addition, trainees were also guided on effective group discussion methods, conflict management skills in meetings, as well as familiarizing themselves with some tools to support decision-making.

Students participating in group discussions come up with action plans for the group.

During the program, trainees participated in group discussions, proposed many action plans for farmer groups, contributing to improving the practicality and effectiveness of training.

The activity is within the framework of the Project “Promoting access to social security and better working conditions for female farmers and seasonal agricultural workers in the shrimp and rice value chain in Vietnam” implemented by Oxfam in coordination with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union and the Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development). The project aims to bring practical benefits, improve the quality of life and working environment for farmers, especially female workers, thereby contributing to the achievement of gender equality goals.
