In recent years, in addition to caring for the workers' lives, Mao Khe Coal Company - TKV has also invested in many construction projects to ensure safety, increase labor productivity and improve working conditions for employees.

Implementing the development plan of Vietnam Coal Industry to 2020, with prospects to 2030, Mao Khe Coal Company has invested in the Mao Khe Mine Underground Mining Project -150. The project has a mining capacity of 2 million tons of coal/year with a lifespan of 32 years. Currently, the project is continuing to implement basic construction items, and at the same time starting to produce coal in areas with stable geological conditions and good coal quality.

To ensure safety, increase labor productivity and improve working conditions for workers, the Company is currently expanding the ZHF1.600/16/24 hydraulic frame technology to most of the long, horizontal and inclined longwall furnaces, replacing the supporting longwall furnaces with single hydraulic columns and XDY mobile hydraulic frame longwall furnaces; continuing to apply material transportation by pipe monorail, maintaining the operation of coal conveyor lines; at the same time effectively operating the main fan stations at all levels to ensure ventilation, promptly serving the production requirements in the Company's underground mines.

With reasonable investment solutions, in 2022, the Company exploited 2.08 million tons of raw coal. This is an important milestone year in achieving an output of over 2 million tons/year since the date of recovery and development; at the same time, it was successful in maintaining occupational safety and health, without serious accidents or incidents.

In particular, in 2022, Mao Khe Coal Company - TKV is the sole representative unit of the underground coal production sector of the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group, honored by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs , and the Vietnam Federation of Industry and Commerce as "Outstanding Enterprise for Workers". This achievement once again affirms that caring for workers is an investment for the sustainable development of Mao Khe Coal Company in the new period.
