The Government Office has just issued Notice No. 469/TB-VPCP dated September 9, 2025, concluding the conclusion of Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh at the meeting on extending the time of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of National Day and preparing to summarize and close the Exhibition.

The announcement stated that Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh acknowledged and commended the efforts of ministries, branches, localities, businesses and relevant units in organizing the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of National Day.

The successful organization of the Exhibition in a short time with determination and high sense of responsibility, effective coordination between ministries, departments, agencies, units and enterprises has created positive social effects and been highly appreciated by the people.

To meet the needs and aspirations of the majority of people to visit and experience the activities at the Exhibition, based on the proposal of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Prime Minister decided to extend the Exhibition period until September 15, 2025 in Official Dispatch No. 155/CD-TTg dated September 2, 2025.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested ministries, branches, localities, agencies, units, organizations and enterprises to thoroughly grasp and seriously and effectively implement, ensuring the best service to the people's needs in the long term; in which, paying attention to focusing on performing well the following tasks:

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism shall preside over and closely coordinate with relevant ministries, branches and localities to continue implementing necessary tasks to maintain the Exhibition's activities for a long time, focusing on the following key contents:

Continue to maintain the Exhibition activities with quality, efficiency, safety, creating the most favorable conditions for people and visitors;

Direct and urge units to have plans to change shifts, rotate and supplement personnel to ensure health, spirit and service quality, avoid overload and fatigue affecting the overall image of the Exhibition;

Maintain regular art programs (average 2 days/session) and other cultural and interactive activities to keep the Exhibition space lively and attractive, serving visitors and the people.

The Ministry of Finance shall preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to urgently guide ministries, branches and localities on arising expenses according to the following principles: negotiate with leasing units and service providers to minimize costs of renting premises, equipment, materials, labor and other related costs; units shall proactively balance and prioritize the use of budget estimates assigned from the beginning of the year and other legal funding sources.

Based on the summary report of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the remaining funding after the units have balanced themselves, the Ministry of Finance will submit to the Prime Minister for consideration and support from the central budget according to regulations.

Regarding the maintenance of booths, participating businesses and units should promote the spirit of responsibility and patriotism, continue to maintain booths until the closing day, considering this an honor and responsibility for the country's important event.

Food stalls are encouraged to rotate and add new specialties and dishes to create diversity and uniqueness to serve the people.

The Security, Medical, Logistics Subcommittees and relevant functional forces focus on maintaining full operations, serving visitors and people well until the end of the Exhibition, ensuring absolute security, safety, fire prevention, environmental sanitation and promptly handling arising situations; mobilizing and supplementing youth volunteers to support the Organizing Committee during the extended period.

Regarding the summary and reward work, the Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to urgently develop a Summary Report of the Exhibition, comprehensively evaluate the results, analyze the causes and draw lessons; propose rewards to submit to competent authorities, diversify the forms of rewards and recommend increasing the number of rewards in accordance with the scale, importance and success of this important event.
