Good news for ST25 rice in Can Tho

(NLDO) - ST25 rice in Can Tho of Ho Quang Tri Private Enterprise achieved national 5-star OCOP certification in 2025.

On July 19, information from the Office of Can Tho City People's Committee, Based on the assessment results of the Central OCOP Council, the Minister of Agriculture and Environment issued a decision approving the list of national OCOP products in 2025 (phase 1).

In particular, Can Tho City has a product recognized as a national OCOP, which is ST25 rice of Ho Quang Tri Private Enterprise.

The Central Office for New Rural Area Coordination recommends that for products recognized as OCOP at the national level, localities need to create favorable conditions to support promotion, trade promotion, product introduction in diplomatic events, conferences, and local trade connection activities; and include OCOP products in the list of gifts and presents to spread regional brands.

Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee Tran Chi Hung assigned The Department of Agriculture and Environment presides over and coordinates with relevant agencies and units to announce the results of the assessment and classification of national OCOP products in 2025 (phase 1) to the subjects and People's Committees at the commune level.

At the same time, continue to pay attention to expanding and managing raw material areas, quality management, improving and enhancing product quality associated with local advantages, values ​​and identities.
