Children of Vietnam Organization sponsors more than 9 billion VND to support community development

Today, July 29, Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam signed a decision approving the project document "Supporting community development for the period 2024 - 2028" sponsored by Children of Vietnam.

Accordingly, the total capital for project implementation is 9.47 billion VND, of which non-refundable aid capital is 9.05 billion VND and counterpart capital in cash from the local budget is 420 million VND.

The project will carry out activities of building new and repairing classrooms for some schools in mountainous and disadvantaged areas of Quang Tri province; supporting disabled children at the Quang Tri School for Disabled Children; supporting one-time scholarships for students in difficult circumstances; supporting drinking water filtration systems for schools in mountainous and disadvantaged areas of Quang Tri province.

Project implementation period from the time of project approval until the end of 2028.

The implementation of the project "Supporting community development for the period 2024 - 2028" will contribute to improving facilities, enhancing teaching and learning conditions; providing scholarships and improving hygiene conditions for students in difficult circumstances in Quang Tri province.
