Summary of inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement work, term 2020-2025

In the 2020-2025 term, Party committees and Inspection Committees at all levels in the Provincial Party Committee have paid attention to leading, directing and organizing the implementation of Party inspection and discipline tasks; implementing and thoroughly grasping the Central's directives, resolutions, decisions, regulations, conclusions and instructions on inspection and discipline work; Inspection Committees at all levels proactively advised Party committees to inspect 1,893 Party organizations and 13,061 Party members according to Article 30 of the Party Charter; supervising 2,048 Party organizations and 4,949 Party members according to Article 30 of the Party Charter; inspecting 16 Party organizations and 71 Party members when there were signs of violations; disciplining 33 Party organizations and 1,150 Party members; resolving complaints and disciplining 2 Party members.

The Party Inspection Committees at all levels seriously performed their duties as prescribed by the Party Charter, inspected 66 Party organizations and 302 Party members when there were signs of violations; supervised 968 Party organizations and 1,536 Party members on a thematic basis; disciplined 17 Party organizations and 407 Party members; resolved complaints in 1 case; verified assets and income of 183 cadres under the management of the Standing Committees of Party Committees at all levels according to regulations.

Besides the achieved results, the work of Party inspection and discipline enforcement still has some shortcomings, such as: Some inspections are not in-depth in content, combativeness and education are limited, quality and efficiency are not high; specialized inspections are few; implementation of conclusions after inspection and examination is slow...

Comrade Nguyen Huong Giang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved in the work of inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement for the 2020-2025 term. In the coming time, he requested Party committees and Inspection Commissions at all levels in the province to carry out a number of key tasks: Continue to strictly implement the Central's leadership and direction documents on inspection, supervision and Party discipline, especially Conclusion No. 34, dated April 18, 2022 of the Politburo on the Party's Inspection and Supervision Strategy to 2030; complete the implementation of the policy of rearranging the apparatus and administrative units, putting them into operation at the provincial and communal levels from July 1; continue to direct the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; Proactively review, revise, supplement, complete and promulgate regulations, rules and procedures within the authority according to decentralization to lead and organize the implementation of the work of economic supervision and Party discipline; promote the application of information technology and comprehensive digital transformation in the work of economic supervision and Party discipline; develop a plan for economic supervision that is focused, key and closely follows practical requirements.
