Awarding Nguyen Huu Duyen scholarships for the 2023-2024 school year in Ha Nam

Attending the ceremony were Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Doan, former member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President, President of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education .

The Nguyen Huu Duyen scholarship awarding ceremony for the year 2023-2024 was also awarded to teachers who won the excellent teacher award. The Nguyen Huu Duyen Scholarship Fund Management Board also announced to schools in the commune, Bac Ly High School, village units and announced on the commune's radio system to coordinate and receive applications to serve the work of awarding scholarships to students, teachers with high achievements in studying and teaching.

Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Doan, former Vice President , President of Vietnam Association for Promoting Education, together with local leaders and sponsors attended the program.

At the meeting on September 17, with the participation of representatives of local authorities, under the supervision of the Fund's Control Board, the Fund's Management Board conducted a public review and unanimously honored and awarded scholarships to 143 students.

Of which, the primary level is 56 students, the secondary level is 62 students, the high school level is 25 students. Divided into 2 students who won national prizes, 74 students who won provincial prizes. 44 students who won district prizes, 23 students from poor households, near-poor households, households with difficult circumstances, and disabled students.

Nguyen Huu Duyen Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to excellent teachers.

In particular, the Scholarship Fund honored and awarded scholarships to 42 teachers. Of these, 13 were primary school teachers, 23 were middle school teachers, and 6 were high school teachers.

Nguyen Huu Duyen Scholarship Fund is recognized by the People's Committee of Ha Nam province under Decision No. 1596/QD-UBND dated August 24, 2022 and Decision No. 1863/QD-UBND dated October 5, 2022 of the People's Committee of Ha Nam province.

On December 4, 2022, the founders, relatives of martyrs and revolutionary veterans Nguyen Huu Duyen organized the launch and put the fund into operation with the purpose of mobilizing resources to build the Fund, to have funds to regularly award scholarships to poor students who overcome difficulties, students with high academic achievements, and teachers with high achievements in teaching.

Nguyen Huu Duyen Scholarship Fund is the passion and aspiration of Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Doan, former member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President, President of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education, to mobilize socialized resources from businesses and individuals to annually supplement the Fund.

Nguyen Huu Duyen Scholarship Fund awarded scholarships to 143 students.

The funds used to award scholarships are the result of labor, effort, dedication, and affection of businesses and individuals for honoring education in the homeland of Chan Ly commune, and Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Doan has connected for the success of the Fund. The Fund is also the wish of the brothers, sisters, children and grandchildren of the family of veteran revolutionary martyr Nguyen Huu Duyen and of the locality of Chan Ly commune.

The Fund was established and put into operation with the desire to promote and develop education and training in Chan Ly commune, contributing to building a learning society with the desire that Chan Ly's children in particular and the social community in general need to pay attention and focus on learning. Learning to be a human, learning to become talented, to take care of life, learning to grow up, learning to become a useful citizen for the homeland and country.
