Over 100,000 customers had their electricity interrupted after the storm.

According to the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC), the storm on the afternoon of July 19 caused about 102,000 customers in the provinces of Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Phu Tho, Ninh Binh, Hung Yen... to have their electricity interrupted.

The Corporation has directed power companies (PCs) to deploy disaster response plans, mobilize 100% of on-duty personnel, quickly count damages, localize incidents, and mobilize adequate materials and equipment to restore the power grid.

In Thai Nguyen, about 8,300 customers had their electricity interrupted. Thai Nguyen Electricity Company mobilized 100% of its staff to be on duty and urgently handle the power grid problem.

Luc Nam Regional Power Management Team handles the incident caused by a metal roof flying into the power line at 8:00 p.m.

Ninh Binh Electricity Company said that 86 medium voltage lines were affected, of which 47 lines have been restored, and 39 lines are still being inspected and handled.

The power grid in some communes of Lac Son, Luong Son, Lac Thuy, Hoa Binh , Phuc Yen, Tam Duong (Phu Tho province) recorded damage with 22 medium voltage lines having problems, 3 poles broken...
