Paying tribute to policy families and implementing the program "Bright Eyes of Vietnam"

On the morning of July 5, at the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee, the National Assembly Delegation of Tay Ninh province organized a gift-giving ceremony to honor outstanding policy families and launched the Bright Eyes of Vietnam program, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

Also attending the ceremony were comrade Pham Hung Thai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Tay Ninh province, along with standing members of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee and representatives of sponsoring units.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia said that this is a very meaningful activity, especially in the context that Tay Ninh in particular and the whole country in general have just completed the merger of administrative units, implementing the 2-level local government apparatus. Organizing gratitude to policy families at this time not only demonstrates the morality of "Drinking water, remember its source", but also contributes to fostering the spirit of solidarity and cohesion in the entire political system and people.

According to Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Tay Ninh Province Pham Hung Thai, in recent times, in addition to carrying out key political tasks, the National Assembly Delegation of Tay Ninh Province has always paid attention to and focused on implementing many social security programs aimed at policy families, meritorious people, the poor and vulnerable groups. This gratitude activity not only demonstrates the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", but also the political responsibility and deep affection of today's generation towards those who have sacrificed and contributed to the country.

At the program, 30 policy families received gifts and bouquets of gratitude from leaders and sponsors.

Along with the gift-giving activity, the program “Brightening Vietnamese Eyes” was also officially launched in July, with about 200-300 people receiving free eye examinations and consultations, and it is expected that 70-100 cataract surgeries will be performed at Tay Ninh General Hospital. The program is organized by the Provincial National Assembly Delegation in coordination with the Department of Health, the Department of Home Affairs and Military Hospital 175.
