Deploying site clearance work for the project to upgrade and expand Provincial Road 2

The People's Committee of Krong Ana commune has just deployed the site clearance work for the project to upgrade and expand Provincial Road 2, section from Km6+431 ÷ Km22+550 (from C7 bridge to Ho Sen lake, Krong Ana commune).

Accordingly, the locality has established a 14-member Land Clearance Mobilization Team to participate in propaganda and mobilize people living and trading along both sides of Provincial Road 2 in Krong Ana commune to voluntarily clear the land to implement the Project (including sidewalks, trees, lighting); deploy specific contents to each subject; sign a commitment to voluntarily clear the land for households and individuals along Provincial Road 2 under the Project; advise the Commune People's Committee to handle cases of violations of traffic safety corridors or propose to competent authorities to handle cases of administrative violations beyond their authority.

It is known that the Project to upgrade and expand Provincial Road 2 (section Km6+431 ÷ Km22+550) was approved by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 3037/QD-UBND dated November 3, 2021, with the Dak Lak Provincial Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor.

The project has a total length of more than 16 km, including more than 13.7 km of extra-urban roads (design speed 60 km/h, roadbed width 9 m); urban roads are nearly 2.5 km long (design speed 50 km/h, construction boundary 26 m). The total investment of the project is 320 billion VND, of which the central budget is 310 billion VND, the provincial budget is 10 billion VND.

The project is expected to start construction in September 2025 and be completed before Lunar New Year 2026.
