According to Mr. Trung, the school hopes that the gift, though small, will have spiritual meaning, showing its support for students in their journey of learning and training.
“Especially, on this important national holiday, we hope that this attention will motivate students to enter the new school year with joy and aspiration to contribute,” said Mr. Trung, adding that more than 12,100 full-time students of the school will receive this lucky money gift.
To receive lucky money, the school will deploy to faculties and organizations to disseminate to students. Students send their account numbers to the school and the accountant will check the transfer as soon as possible.
Mr. Trung also shared that in just a few hours, almost all students in the school have provided their account numbers. Currently, some students have received lucky money from the school.
Similarly, at the University of Finance and Marketing, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Tien Dat, Principal, has just signed a decision to give gifts to full-time students and international joint programs studying at the school on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day and the 80th anniversary of the Finance tradition. The expenditure level is 100,000 VND/student.
According to the school, this is not simply material support, but also gratitude, sharing and a source of spiritual encouragement for students to be more confident, continue to study, practice and foster the aspiration to conquer a bright future.
“The small gift sent to students is not only the school's care and encouragement, but also a message: Try your best to study, practice, and assert yourself to become global citizens, contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnam in the new era, the era of striving to develop strongly and prosperously,” Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Tien Dat emphasized.
Similarly, Pacific University (Khanh Hoa) also announced a donation of 100,000 VND on the occasion of Independence Day, September 2, to all students, trainees, and staff of the school. If people are curious and click on it, their personal information, bank accounts and passwords can be stolen. In addition, they also impersonate government officials, police, banks to call "to receive support", then ask for OTP codes or money transfers for "authentication".
