In Official Dispatch 5695, the Ministry of Education and Training stated the tasks that universities must perform when developing a plan to implement the project, including the requirement to link training activities with research when implementing training programs for talented engineers and masters in STEM (majors in strategic technology fields: science , technology, engineering, mathematics).
Specifically, universities, based on their capacity and strengths in research and training, will plan and organize enrollment and training programs for talented engineers and masters from 2025 to 2035, invite good lecturers to participate, apply modern training methods and advanced technology, and ensure the goals set in each stage.
Universities must unify admission methods for all training programs for talented engineers and masters; admission methods for doctoral training by field and group of fields.
During the training process, schools must invite good lecturers and experienced experts to guide and support learners; apply modern training methods and advanced educational technology, suitable for talented students and trainees, and enhance practical experience.
Universities need to link the training process with scientific research and technological innovation, incubate and develop strong research groups, especially interdisciplinary and inter-school research groups.
