DNVN - Since July 1, FV has officially applied state health insurance payment for all patients coming for examination, diagnosis, outpatient treatment; emergency, and insurance payment for patients using cancer treatment services, inpatient treatment, knee, hip and shoulder replacement surgery, Phaco surgery, retinal detachment treatment...

Ms. Dao Thi Ngoc Bich - Head of Insurance Services Department ( FV Hospital ) said: From July 1, Health Insurance will pay 100% of benefits within the prescribed scope for the following cases when they come to FV Hospital for examination and treatment .

For outpatients: Patients registered with FV as the initial health insurance examination and treatment facility; medical examination and treatment in emergency cases and gastrointestinal endoscopy; patients with valid referral papers; patients examined and treated as outpatients with diagnoses included in the List of diseases examined and treated at the primary level (Appendix 2 according to Circular 01/2025/TT-BYT). This list includes many serious diseases, including outpatient treatment at the Oncology Department (chemotherapy and radiotherapy).

For inpatients (no referral required): Treatment with procedures performed in the Cardiovascular Interventional Room (Cath-Lab) . Knee, hip and shoulder replacement surgery at the Department of Traumatology & Orthopedics . Phaco surgery and vitrectomy for retinal detachment at the Department of Ophthalmology .

Emergency cases at FV are covered by 100% health insurance.

In addition, from January 1, 2026 , FV will expand the application of health insurance payment to all inpatient treatment services, and at this time, patients will enjoy maximum health insurance benefits when treated at FV Hospital .

Over the past ten years, since FV applied health insurance payment for some special services in the Oncology Department, Cardiovascular Intervention Department, Ophthalmology Department, and Orthopedic Trauma Department, many patients have had their hospital treatment fees covered by health insurance up to 50%, in many cases up to more than 1 billion VND.
