USD exchange rate bounces back

After a week of downward adjustment, this morning, June 28, the listed central exchange rate increased by 18 VND, at 25,182 VND/USD.

Starting a new working week, the central USD exchange rate listed by the State Bank of Vietnam is 25,182 VND, up 18 VND (equivalent to 0.07%) compared to the trading session at the end of last week.

Over the past week, the domestic market has witnessed the USD exchange rate at the State Bank continuously being adjusted downwards (to 25,164 VND/USD on July 24). Similarly, the USD selling price at major commercial banks has also been adjusted downwards…

The reference exchange rate at the State Bank's Transaction Office this morning listed buying and selling at 23,973-26,391 VND/USD.

Also early this morning, most USD selling prices at several major commercial banks remained unchanged compared to the session at the end of last week.

At 7:56, the USD buying and selling rate listed by Vietcombank is 25,930 - 26,320 VND/USD, unchanged from the previous session.

BIDV listed at the beginning of the hour 25,960 - 26,320 VND/USD, the same as the listed price at the end of last week.

The exchange rate at Techcombank listed at 8:12 was 25,980-26,325 VND/USD. ACB listed 25,940 - 26,320 VND/USD.

On the free market this morning, the exchange rate was trading around 26,380-26,460 VND/USD.

Regarding the Chinese Yuan (CNY) exchange rate, this morning Vietcombank listed the buying and selling rates at 3,590-3,705 VND/CNY, down 4 VND in both buying and selling compared to the end of last week. BIDV listed 3,598-3,696 VND/CNY, down 7 VND in both buying and selling.
