Vietnam in me supports 4.2 billion for the people of Central Vietnam affected by floods

Vietnam in Me concert directed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, organized by Hanoi Opera House, took place on the evening of August 26 at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh commune, Hanoi).

The concert is not only an event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2, but also a message about love for the homeland, the spirit of sharing and the strength of solidarity of the Vietnamese people.

The organizers said that Vietnam in Me is an "important experiment" in bringing political art programs closer to the public, especially the youth.

A series of songs imbued with national spirit were sung in Vietnam in my heart

Thousands of spectators showed up very early, standing in the rain from the afternoon until the concert started at 8:00 p.m. the same evening.

With more than 20 performances, the concert leads the audience through three parts: Nam in me is a lullaby of memories, Vietnam in me is journeys, Vietnam in me is a magical land.

The program opened with the wheel of time, returning to her lullaby through the voices of Anh Tu (Voi Ban Don) and Duong Hoang Yen in the songs I am Vietnamese, Vietnamese Homeland, Our people sing folk songs, Peaceful region ...

Duong Hoang Yen brought her newly released song "Fatherland in the Sunlight" to the concert. The song praises "the shape of the country, as beautiful as a picture of paradise". The artist also contributed "Sparkling Rainbow ", a composition by Hua Kim Tuyen that caused a stir at "Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind" 2024 .

Yen said this was the first time she performed outdoors in a very heavy rain, but according to the artist, "the rain is for memories" and "no matter how heavy the rain is, it cannot hide the energy and love of the audience." She said, "I love everyone. Proud to be Vietnamese."

Both of them kept the rhythm for tens of thousands of audiences to sing the song "Noi Vong Tay Lon" in unison , making the stage very hot even though it was raining.

Duc Phuc said, "Vietnam in my heart is a proud and grateful spirit, the spirit of helping each other." Hoa Minzy admitted, "We are young people, hoping to do something meaningful for the country." The artists called on the audience to support the people of the Central region who are suffering from natural disasters.

Soobin apologizes to the audience for getting caught in the rain

"Today Soobin feels like he hasn't reciprocated everyone's love - he had to stand since the afternoon, in the rain all day waiting for Soobin to perform," the artist shared that he really wanted to perform more, but due to the nature of the show, he couldn't sing more.

Soobin confided that he was very lucky to still be here singing and looking at his audience. He also felt "heartbroken and worried" because the people of Central Vietnam were suffering so much damage due to storms and floods.

Choosing the song "Return" to perform, Soobin said, "Vietnam is my home, no matter where I go, it's always home." The artist called on the audience to unite with the spirit of the Vietnamese people that nothing is insurmountable.
