Summon taxi driver
Previously, social networks spread the story of XT account recounting the incident of encountering two fellow countrymen walking in the sun on the highway while he was on his way from Hanoi to his hometown.
After giving the two aunts and nephews a ride, he learned that they had just left the National Children's Hospital after treating a young child.
According to the story, the two people took a motorbike taxi through the app to My Dinh bus station to catch another bus to Lao Cai. However, at the bus station, a stranger approached them, said that the bus had already left the station and offered to chase them by motorbike taxi.
After agreeing, each person was taken by a motorbike taxi, and then asked to transfer to a taxi to continue the journey.
The motorbike taxi driver charged 700,000 VND, while the taxi driver, after a short distance to the entrance of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway, asked them to pay 4.2 million VND in fare.
Having no cash, the nephew had to call his family in the countryside to transfer the money using the QR code provided. Although he could not remember the taxi's license plate number, the victim still saved the transfer account information.
On June 16, the two went to My Dinh 2 Ward Police Station (Hanoi) to work. The aunt and nephew expressed their hope that the authorities would intervene to get the money back for the family.
After receiving the report from the two victims, the commander of My Dinh 2 Ward Police said that he had identified the taxi driver and summoned him to the police station for clarification.
