An Giang trains national defense and security education for cadres and teachers

GD&TĐ - An Giang Department of Education and Training conducts training on integrating national defense and security education content for cadres and teachers of primary and secondary schools in the province.

From August 19 to 22, training classes take place by grade level.

On August 19, the Department of Education and Training of An Giang province held the opening ceremony of a training conference for teachers of National Defense and Security Education at high schools; integrating national defense and security education content in primary and secondary schools by 2025.

Mr. Nguyen The Huynh, Specialist of the Department of Education and Training of An Giang province, delivered the opening speech of the training course.

Accordingly, on August 19 and 20, the training class (each class/grade/day) will teach integrated national defense and security content for management officials and professional officers of primary schools and secondary schools in communes and wards of special zones in the whole province on integrated teaching methods in the subjects: Vietnamese, Nature and Society, History and Geography, Art, Ethics (for primary level); Literature, Civic Education, History and Geography, Art (for secondary level).

On August 21 and 22, the training course was for teachers of National Defense and Security Education at high schools through the following topics: Organization and teaching methods for practical lessons on the Regulations. Method of compiling lesson plans; compiling test matrices; organizing tests and evaluating the results of the National Defense and Security Education subject for high school students. At the same time, introducing the content of revisions to the National Defense and Security Education textbooks when rearranging the organization of the political system and the organization of the local government at 2 levels.

The training courses aim to foster and improve the capacity of the management staff and teachers of the subject of National Defense and Security Education in terms of content, organization, teaching methods, practice and integration of National Defense and Security Education content. At the same time, update new content related to the content and curriculum of National Defense and Security Education textbooks in the innovation and arrangement of the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, operate effectively and efficiently and organize the 2-level local government.

Thereby, creating conditions for the team of managers and teachers to exchange experiences to improve management capacity, teaching quality of the subject of National Defense and Security Education and integrating National Defense and Security Education content in primary schools, secondary schools, and high schools to meet the 2018 General Education Program and implement the 2-level local government model.
